Takashi Murakami is one of the famous Japanese contemporary artists. A manga and anime fan with traditional japanese style painting education that combines both worlds to create amazing art pieces in all kinds of media: painting, sculpture, fashion, animation or merchandise.
Murakami’s style is easily recognizable and his characters are available on vinyl,metal or plush. He is known for blurring the line between high and low arts and he is able to exhibit in the biggest galleries and museums (even in Versailles Palace) or in his recently closed bar.
